How many photos will I receive?
I don’t believe in capping the number of photos I deliver to you. If it is a good photo that represents you and your session, you will receive it. My full portrait sessions are usually 40-80 photos but at least 30 good photos.
How do I book a session?
Once you decide you’d like to hire me as your photographer, shoot me an email or message and we will chat about all your expectations for your session (ie. location, special requests, number of people, etc.) I’ll send over a photo consent for you to electronically sign, we’ll pick a date and BOOM you’re scheduled!
What forms of payment do you take?
I accept cash, Venmo, Cash App, Facebook Pay or Zelle.
Do you do newborn photos?
This is the one service I don’t offer. I have two daughters of my own and occasionally I’ll do them for friends and family but it is not my specialty. There are so many great photographers out there who specialize in newborn photography and I’m more than happy to give you a referral.
Do you charge travel fees?
Not usually. If your session is more than an hour outside Fountain I may charge a $40 fee.
Do you retouch photos?
I do retouch skin and whiten teeth. If this is something you’d like for me to skip just let me know. Please be aware that you are booking me for my capabilities and editing style. I cannot change my whole editing style to match something you may have seen online that is vastly different from my work here.
What time of day is best for pictures?
I generally like to stay away from high noon (11-2pm) depending on the location and season. No one likes pictures where everyone is squinting! Once we start discussing locations, I'll give you a timeframe for what will work best. Usually, overcast weather is my favorite and works with all skin tones, as well as, golden hour (currently 4:00-5:30pm.)
What is your turnaround time?
During the non-busy season you can expect a turn around time of two to three weeks sometimes sooner.
How do we get our photos?
Once I'm done with all the fine tuning and editing I'll send you a link to your gallery via Google for you to view, download and share your photos. These photos will have my watermark on them. Once all editing is complete I’ll meet up with you to deliver USB and prints or I can drop them off to you.
